Ensure the share of information and communication to the HSSE manager and member of HSSE department. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, on e-mail, by e-mail or by telephone to ensure that all current tasks are complaint completed with ICTSI procedures.
Ensure that HSSE Staff members are instructed with regard to changes in HSSE procedures and documentation
III.Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Enforcing ICTSI policies, procedures, instructions and rules relatives to HSSE aspects,
2.Ensure that local laws ,regulations, rules and codes are observed in terms of HSSE,
3.Reporting, gathering and maintaining up-to-date in a weekly basis statistical information about HSSE,
4.Ensure that action plan from all incident, accident and non-conformity or anomalies are planned and implemented,
5.Lead a monthly required audit or inspection relatives to HSSE,
6.Lead or attend HSSE meeting and represent ICTSI HSSE in other internal activities,
7.Improve HSSE documentation, identify lack of procedure, instruction or other documents and establish them,
8.Ensure all emergency response plan is forecast and implemented (fire, cyclone, injury, accident, spillage, theft, strike, …..),
9.Ensure equipment relatives to emergency plan are operational and in a good status,
10.Verify the exactitude of PR not understood??launched and ensure that products received is conform regarding the need and the PR,
11.Schedule and lead exercise and drill program,
12.Prepare internal or external training, including required support, in coordination with the training coordinator and with the assistance of other coordinator,
13.Suggest toolbox talk topics with needed documentation and support,
14.Ensure availability of PPE for employee,
15.Optimize process within HSSE department,
16.Show an exemplary behavior regarding HSSE aspect,
17.Ensure permanence of the HSSE department according to the organization. Means, availability day/night including week-end and day-off,
18.Lead project that are assigned to him with consideration of deadline and means,
Ensure the interim of HSSE manager and other function in the HSSE department during a leave of the assigned person
1.Give support on investigation of accident/incident and non-conformity, and define corrective action plan,
2.Assist the HSSE Manager in the preparation of the annual budget for HSSE.
3.Assist the HSSE Manager in the preparation of development plans for ICTSI .
d. Other Duties:
1.Performs other duties that maybe assigned by the HSSE Manager or COO.
2.Produce systematic report or other report following the request
3.All above specified tasks should take into account the Health, Safety, Security and Environment aspects as from the planning phase.
4.The employee should ensure at all time that all interventions and/or works are performed in accordance with laws, obligations, rules and regulations related to Health, Safety, Security and Environment.
IV.Job Specifications / Requirements: (cf APPROVED MANPOWER REQUEST)
Educational Attainment: Minimum of bac+4 (ideally in the field of polytechnique, or agronomie, …)
Work Experience: 21 years of experiences in HSSE. Experience in port operation and relation with authority are an assets
Language: FrenchMandarin, English fluent. The knowledge of FrenchMandarin would be an asset
Skills:Computer literacy skills. Has an
analytical mind. Has above average
written and oral communication skills.
Result-oriented and able to communicate with the work force
Driving licence category B.
Working Conditions:Works in male-dominated site environmentan land environment.
